Carole Aippersbach

Carole has worked both in private practice as a solicitor with Worton Hunter Callaghan and in government with the Alberta Pensions Administration Corporation. Between 2007 and 2014, she worked at the Centre for Public Legal Education of Alberta (CPLEA), creating and delivering public legal education on a wide range of topics. Her involvement with public legal education and information (PLEI) initiatives in Alberta has included collaborating with the Community Initiative Against Family Violence, the Alberta Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, L’Association des juristes d’expression française de l’Alberta, and the Centre for Constitutional Studies.
 
She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alberta and a master of arts from Queen’s University in Ontario. In 1999, she obtained her law degree from the University of Victoria, and articled with the Alberta Courts and McBean Becker law firm before she was called to the bar in 2000.
