Working together to increase Albertans' access to legal information

 

 

 

LegalAve is not only intended for Albertans looking for legal information; it also helps service providers make effective referrals and stay current about the programs and services of other organizations. The For Service Providers page has a filtering tool that organizations can use to gather resources that are specific to their patrons' needs. In addition, the Legal Topics section contains pages with in-depth legal information and tailored resources that service providers can share with clients, such as Community Legal Resources & Legal Aid, Educating Yourself: Legal Research, and Alternative Dispute Resolution: Negotiation, Mediation, Arbitration, & Collaborative Family Law.

 

In the later part of 2016, we collaborated with the Alberta Legal Information Centre (ALIC) to show how service providers can use LegalAve. The video features ALIC Director, Ali Rachid, who demonstrated how he and his team use LegalAve to help their clients.
